Yea!! Yippeee!!
Finally the interview is over!!! and not only over, it went on successfully!!! Mrs. Bridget Lew is really a nice and helpful person!!! yea!!!! From her persuasive words and tone, I've learnt a precious lesson today. I'm touched by her words and her heart to help the migrant workers who are poorer and most helpless in Singapore. Seriously, she's really a groundbreaker! A worthy one! =D I'm so glad I've found her as my groundbreaker from the net. Because of this, I'm proud of myself. =D
A rented terrace house, 7 rooms, but sheltered up to 100 women. I saw it with my own eyes. My group did too. I saw dogs and cats living harmoniously under one roof. I believe it dosen't happen in the real world outside. The shelter is not only a shelter, I feel cosy and heart-warming. We reached there and we feel so welcomed. Every women(mostly ex-maids) said Hi to us. We were served with plain cold water. Jun Jin was especially afraid of cats and dogs. The dog is tame. The cats walk around very frequently. The women there were kind enough to keep them away from us because we girls were all scared of animals. Hahax... Right away after I've drank the last sip of water, one of them volunteered to put it away for me. Mrs. Lew has done a really good job because all her girls are so polite, passionate about life and nice! :)
I've had a good day at HOME's girls' shelter at Serangoon.
Todays is the day that I've spent very meaningfully! ;)
