Always felt tt Edison is indeed a playboy but I have to admit that he's a handsome chap.

The above video is by JohnDkar and is a video created with some of Edison's last time (more decent??) pix, JohnDkar's personal opinion and the full apology from Edison on 21st Feb 2008's conference.

On one hand, the conservatives will think that he's so damn sick in the mind by taking videos of the utterly private process of s**. Edison deserves it and blah blah...

On the othe hand, some of his fans think otherwise. They believe tt, instead, he's the victim.

I think this entire thing has got out of hand. Like Edison yeah is into taking pics of his gf when he is doing s### but hey nothing wrong with that. For him now to stop making movies in HK is a joke. This thing has gone way too far and its very disappointing the end result.

You know, he got screwed by a theif which sucks. But it's a little strange how he has really sucked as much world wide publicity as he could out of this. Note his apologies were in English despite his audience (current) being Chinese speaking. Is he trying to cross-over based on a scandal? He's committed to a few months away. That's about how long it will take for people to stop caring and now with his higher Q rating, he might be able to get international jobs. We'll see.

I agree to all the below comment, i do not think he needs to apoligize, as this is not Edison's fault, it is those bored little fools who decided to hack into some other people's computer. As it has been said, this is normal practice in this day. Yes, some people who are conservative may not agree. But this is "adult play" consented by mature adult. They should be left alone, and the media should stop bashing them, especailly the poor ladies who were involved.

I dont know what these photos are off but it sounds to me like he should be left alone what people do in the privacy of thier own home is thier buisness.the people in the wrong are the ones who stole the photos then leeked them not him!

who cares really? I think Chen is trying to get some publicity out of this! He did nothing out of this world...the people that should be ashamed are the no-lifers who leaked the pictures on the net!

give the guy a break . what 2 ppl do in the privacy of their own room is their own personal business. it is so very common to take intimate pictures between lovers . there is nothing wrong with that . just like we all have our own private diary and letters that no one has a right to invade . just imagine if your computers's been hacked and how upset and angry you'd be. so see it from a fair point of view ev1 and stop blaming a normal human being thst has been a victim himself.

I felt indifferent when these photos are spread over the internet. And I feel that Edison indeed gotta step out from "hiding"(maybe) and do something to end the misery brought about to some individuals. After viewing his apology, I thought he was pretty sincere in repenting and leaving the HK E-industry might also be the best alternative for both Edison and for everyone else to forget the incident. Can you imagine watching his movies in future and at the back of your mind-- the incident that happened?

The comments above are relatively fair-enough opinions as well cos those videos are taken with the consents of the parties involved. The fault may lie on the culprits at large, however, Edison does need to share part of the responsibilties too. There's NO running away possible.
