Yippee! Always love love love movies! Watched X-Men Origins-Wolverine this morning and 17 Again this evening!!!!
HAHAHAHA!!!
[Calming down...] I love the movies. First, I watched "Wolverine" at Shaw Century with June cos many of our friends around us said it was nice. So, we decided to watch it today when she is less hectic. It was pretty touching (for me) regarding a scene and I was taken aback tt comic-style movies will include this element (sentimental). Rating for "X-Men" is.... 3.5 Stars! Though only 2-3 other beings are watching with us in the theatre... ... LOL!

^Seems like we've spent 6 bucks each to reserve the whole theatre. =0
After "X-Men", we decided to watch "17 Again" at GV Tampines in the evening after June's lecture tt's till 6pm. Something different on regeard to how I felt for today's movies were partly due to the fact tt I didn't read reviews b4hand to let them influence my judgement. I'm glad for tt. Hence, I went into the cinema absolutely clueless of wad I'm expecting for "17 Again". Therefore, the word "Again" did surprised me abit when I realised wad the director and sript writer were driving to during the initial portion of it. Anyway, "17 Again" reminds me of "Click".
A simple family-style story on the surface inspires ppl alot behind the whole plot. I love movies tt makes me think awhile abt some things in life. Instead of complaining the regrets you've suffered, why don't you try LIVING with the regrets and make it seem better than you thought it to be?
Well, my favourite part of "17 Again" (most probably will be everyone else's fav too) is the scene of reconcillation. Mike O’Donnel to Scarlett: "For the past 20 years, I've been pushing all the blames to you because I married you. Until now, I've understood/remembered how I felt that day, that the best decision I've made in life; is to MARRY YOU." (Those are not the exact words, but the meaning's there. Watch it yourself at the cinemas bahz! x_x)
Needless to say, Zac Efron maybe part of the reason to watch this movie for most girls/fans, cos he's handsome in there. However, to be justifiably fair, I personally think his acting skills are getting a lot better as compared to "High School Musical" series'. Don't know about "Hairspray" cos I hvn watch it. Rating for "17 Again" is 3.75 stars!
Henceforth, my conclusion will be-- I've spent worthwhile $$ for the movies today!
P.S: On the way home by bus (passing the interchange carts), I realised tt I'm too too obsessed in (leather) backpacks recently. I've bought one leather (brown) one in Korea and back in Singapore, I saw a white one tt's so super duber beautiful (in my perspective) and cheap!!! Wah seh! I must work hard this wkn at work so tt I can allow myself to "squander" $$ on bags again! HAHA! If I am really really wealthy, maybe I will just lose control and buy all the bags in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD man! hahahahaha!!!
