Today:
Went to 光明山 to pay respects to my grandfather cuz Qing Ming Jie is next week (5th April). Many were there to do the same. Cannot imagine all these ppl including my parents are so devoted Buddhists for all these decades and maybe even for the rest of their life too. How is it possible that ppl believe in religion and pray to these gods for a peace of mind. It's a pro and con.
After which we proceed to have lunch at AMK's market (at Blk 300+). Wow, the Bak Ku Teh, Salty Veg and Braised Pork Feet are so good and famous (due to the queue and every table near the stall are eating their food). Yummy! Though the pork feet is extremely fatty, I managed to pick up only the skinny parts to consume. The fatty part I only ate a 'chopstick' to curb my temps. HAHAA! Ichiban stuff at reasonable price. =]
While my parents are planning to return home, I asked for permission to go PS' Daiso cuz I really wanted to buy their beautiful boxes tt are only $2 ea. Guess, it's not alright to admit tt I'm indeed a shopaholic! I bought 8 boxes of diff sizes, shapes and colours plus some other stuffs while my mother and I are browsing ard. Soup mug, cork coaster, transparent plastic container, sunglasses pouches, father's belt, mother's washing zip bag, heart-shaped chopsticks, sleeping eye mask... HEHE
Yeah, my shopping list is almost ticked all thanks to this weekend!
Yesterday:
Went to Bugis Street to find my blue-white strips and black sweaters but I couldn't find any at all even I've looked through all (I think all...) the shops there. Mum bought a watch and another pair of sunglasses. I bought my shopping list item- brown framed fake specs. Nothing much to buy since I couldn't find a single sweater, maybe the vendors are changing seasonal clothes too. Mum and I went to have our late lunch-cum-dinner at Bugis Junction's new Food Junction. We ordered the HK stall's Black pepper chicken cutlet noodles and lemon chicken rice and shared the food. Not bad. =]
Mum wanted to go Paya Lebar's THIS Fashion cuz we've both not went there for some time. In the end, she didn't buy anything. I bought two piece of tops and a pair of shorts. Evidence of shopaholic-ism again. Opps... But guess wad, I've found out how to buy shorts to look skinnier liao! Hohohoho! So proud of the pair of $6.30 shorts I've bought there!!!
Enough of my blabbering. Sign off...
